      Their oldest son Rev. George Bryce (1844-1931) went on to found the University of Manitoba. See https://sci.umanitoba.ca/rev-george-bryce/

      The son Peter Henderson Bryce (1853-1932) was famous in his own right for his fight for better conditions for indigenous populations in Western Canada. There were Eliza Bryce (1848-1911) and at least two other siblings.
