Home of Fire Department Officer Is Plunged Into Mourning by Loss of Bright Boy? Friends Sorely Grieved
Many friends of Capt. William H. Bryden of the Los Angeles flre department will be shocked to hear of the death of his 11-year-old son, Milton A. Bryden. The little lad was exceptionally bright and was a favorite among a large circle of friends. Milton had been suffering several weeks from a growth on his forehead. Specialists diagnosed the trouble as a tumor pressing upon the optic nerve. The boy bore his affliction nobly, but his condition became so serious that a consultation of five physicians was called. An operation was decided upon, but proved of no avail and the little sufferer passed away Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at St. Patrick's church tomorrow at 10 o'clock. Interment will be at Calvary cemetery.
