- BRUNSON, S.C. -- Albert A. Albecker, 87, died Jan. 19 at home. He was a native of West New York, N.J., and retired as a tool and die maker with Westinghouse Corp. in Hampton. He was a member of Westinghouse Fire Department and owner and operator of Hampton Staples (Stables?). He was a founder of the Hampton Saddle Club. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hampton and the widower of Adele Brydon Albecker.
SURVIVORS: two daughters, Dorothy A. Lightsey and Marion A. Garman, both of Hampton; a brother, Richard Albecker of Lyndhurst, N.J.; seven grandchildren, Robert A. Lightsey of Seneca, William D. Lightsey of Huntsville, Ala., Michael E. Lightsey of West Union, Jeffrey A. Lightsey of Hartwell, Ga., Gina M. Holstein of Nixville, Sara H. Graves of Summerville and James B. Garman of Hampton; and seven great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, burial in Brunson Cemetery. Savannah Now, Jan 1999
