    • A vetinary surgeon and a breeder of Clydesdales....

      Bridge and Stud Farm, incorporating the old Manor House in the early 1900's. A stud farm since 1870, Robert Brydon ran it for the Londonderrys, his Clydesdales were famous worldwide. Brydon also farmed Dawdon Hill Farm and Carr Hse Fm. His head groom was Mr Charles Aitkenhead who himself farmed Carr House Farm after Brydons death.
