    • Student Karly Brydon was on the 1911 Calgary Collegiate Institute football team and it's lacrosse team.

      He enlisted for service in World War 1 in Vacartier, Quebec, Sep 23 1914. He was a civil engineer at the time.

      October 1915 he is wounded in his right leg.
      promoted to L. Cpl. Mar 1916.
      promoted to Sgt Apr 1916.
      held rank of Temp Lieut November 1916.
      He held the rank of Captain at discharge.
      He was mentioned in despatches by Sir Douglas Haig.
