      Bridgewater Bulletin 4/3/1935

News of the passing of Miss Anabella Logan, at the home of her nephew, R.B. Logan, on Saturday evening, following an illness of a week, will be received with deep regret by her many friends in Bridgewater. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Logan of Tatamagouche, Cumberland County, she was 88 years of age and the last surviving member of a family of four. Her brother, R. A. Logan, with whom she made her home for the past eleven years, pre-deceased her about two years ago. Miss Logan was a deeply religious, kind, lovable, and gentle person and for several years was a very genial companion to the late Miss Kate Fraser of Bridgewater. She was a member of St. John's United Church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, among whom are Mrs. H.A.Keown of Regina; Mrs. J.N. McGowan of Montreal; Miss Ann Logan of New York; Harold Logan of Morgan City, La.; and R.B. Logan of Bridgewater; all children of the late R.A. Logan. The funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. W.K. Read of St. John's Church will officiate.

      With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
